Vecta OnDemand comprises of a hosted Vecta Hub that is accessed
via the web. When you subscribe to this service, Vecta is responsible
for maintaining, upgrading and supporting all aspects of the hosting
environment.
Vecta OnDemand also includes managed services that periodically
transfer your back-office data into the hosted Vecta Hub using "HostLink"
as required. We will also ensure that the resulting Sales Intelligence
is immediately available online or distributed to offline users
in the field.
The Vecta OnDemand service is delivered via an innovative smart
client that supports online users connected to the hosted Vecta
Hub via the web and offline users accessing a local database. The
Vecta smart client automatically installs within a few minutes when
you first subscribe to Vecta OnDemand, and then automatically upgrades
as the latest version of the software becomes available.
